The BOB Flight Deck™
What exactly is the Flight Deck?
The Flight Deck is a field-deployable command station — a rugged platform that holds your monitor, tablet, controller, and power gear in one organized cockpit, anywhere you can plant a stand. It sets up in minutes and packs down just as fast. No tailgate balancing act, no gear in the dirt.
What can I mount on it?
The deck includes a VESA folding monitor mount and 28 quarter-twenty (1/4"-20) mount points, so most monitors, tablets, arms, clamps, and camera accessories attach with standard hardware. If your gear mounts to a tripod or camera rig, it mounts to the Flight Deck.
How much weight can it hold?
Load ratings depend on your setup and stand — full specs are published on the product page, and we mean them. Respect the ratings and the Flight Deck will hold your gear steady all day.
Do I need the BOB stand, or can I use my own tripod?
The Flight Deck plate works on heavy-duty tripods and standard 35mm speaker stand poles, so you can start with a stand you already own. Cantilevered accessories like the BOB Power Ledge™ shift the load off-center, though, and require a heavy-duty stand rated for it — check the compatibility guidelines on each product page before you fly. When in doubt, email us your setup and we'll tell you straight.
Is it weatherproof?
The Flight Deck is built for field conditions — sun, dust, and normal outdoor use. It's not rated for submersion or sustained heavy rain, and your electronics have their own limits. Full details are on the product page.
Who is it for?
Drone pilots first — surveyors, inspectors, mappers, content creators, SAR teams. But if you work off a screen outdoors — photographers, filmmakers, field techs, overlanders — it's built for you too.
Ordering & Availability
When will my order ship?
Flight Decks are built in small batches. Current ship windows are listed on the product page and in your order confirmation. In-stock items ship within 2–3 business days.
What does "Reserve My Build" mean?
We're launching in waves. Reserving your build locks in your configuration and puts you in line — we'll email you the moment your batch is ready. You're not charged until checkout.
What about the Air Command and other products?
They're coming. The Flight Deck is our first release; power distribution and additional accessories are in development. Join the Field Notes list in the footer and you'll be the first to know.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet — U.S. only for now. Email support@bobbasecamp.com if you're international and we'll notify you when that changes.
Returns & Warranty
What's your return policy?
30 days, unused, in original packaging. Full details on our Shipping & Returns page.
What's the warranty?
Every BOB product carries a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Details on our Warranty page.
Does the warranty cover my drone or electronics?
No — our warranty covers our gear. Your aircraft, monitor, and electronics are your responsibility, which is why we publish honest load ratings and compatibility guidelines instead of optimistic ones.
